Born in Königsberg, Käthe Kollwitz lived and worked in Berlin for over 50 years. With her socially committed works, she worked far beyond Germany and maintained contacts all over the world.

Museum
Founded in 1986, the museum is still privately owned today. In addition to grants from the State of Berlin, the house receives support from numerous private individuals and institutions. A visit is possible any day of the week.
